Code of Conduct

Our Code of Conduct defines the basic values and principles that relate to behavior and behavior within SMMAF and action in its name.
Adhering to our Code of Conduct is of significant value to our business, to protect and promote our Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) sport. In this way, we appear to honor and spread MMA’s unifying and educational function, but also respect for cultural and interpersonal values. Our Code of Conduct also aims at preventing actions and procedures that threaten to compromise the integrity or untrue behavior and corruption of our athletes and contests.

THE APPLICATION CODE APPLIES TO ALL SMMAFS REPRESENTATIVES
Official representatives
Official representatives are all board members, committee members, judges, timers, coaches, instructors and anyone who is in any way responsible for technical, medical and administrative matters within the federation or at affiliated clubs.

We will always behave ethically and act with high integrity in all situations. We are aware that our reputation and actions are of utmost importance for SMMAF to work for our sport

RESPECT AND VALUATION
We will treat all dignity and with respect. We meet every individual, official representative and media with respect for his person and rights.

ZEROTOLERANS AGAINST DISCRIMINATION AND TRACTIONS
We believe in diversity and multiculturalism, and it seems that MMA will help to establish contact between people from different social groups and that anyone who wishes, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, nationality physical and mental conditions, may be allowed to participate in community-driven sports activities. By seeing differences as a strength, the conditions for people with different backgrounds and experiences are created to enrich and strengthen each other.

Under no circumstances should there be discrimination on grounds of ethnicity, origin, color, nationality, religion, age, gender, language, appearance, sexual orientation or political opinion. Nor are verbal or physical attacks and harassment in any form accepted.

FAIRPLAY AND RULES
We follow the rules and have a sportsmanlike behavior. Similarly, without reservation, we accept the statutes, rules, directives, regulations and decisions decided upon by SMMAF.

DRUGS AND DOPING
We oppose all forms of drugs and doping and seem to actively prevent all use of illegal preparations in our sport.

MUTOR AND MANIPULATION
We counteract and condemn all forms of bribery and corruption. We will not accept or in any way contribute to any form of manipulation or illegal impact on match results.
